Waiting on food for 30 plus mins and the place is not so packed. I always wanted to try this place but the waiting time is just so over bearing. The food was ok, and the guy at the desk was nice. Apart from the time, this place is okay. Giving a 3 because of the wait time. I would come back to try something else, hopefully it won't be so busy.

Typical American style dinning with great selection from ribs to wings to fish to pasta. Ribs are exceptional! Rocking rib rolls are a must as an app and their wings are quite delicious. Always a friendly staff! Ask for nikki at the bar, she has always been great! Fully liquor bar and beers on tap! Differently deals weekly that alternate week nights. Great value overall, good go to restaurant if you can't make up your mind!

My boyfriend was raving about how delicious Flanagan's wings are so I decided to check them out for myself. It was pretty cool because we went on Wednesday and there special was buy a pitcher and get 10 free wings. Our first batch were pretty good. The second batch though were undercooked and had no sauce. Our waitress wasn't the most attentive either. Overall, the experience was okay. The wings were decent.

Found this place here on yelp. The reviews were good so I decided to give it a try. I am glad I did. I ordered one of the specials steak, baked potato, Cesar salad and a soda. The price was very reasonable and the food was really good! I will be here for a few weeks on business and will definitely go back !!

I've been eating at this Flanigan's location for almost 20 years. The ribs are the standard I use to judge all other ribs. Their garlic rolls are excellent. They make a great Gumbo soup. Their Caesar salad is delicious, and I've yet to find one as good anywhere else. The only drink I ever get there is iced tea, and it's always great. I also love the large plastic reusable cups they give. They are great for taking in the car when you're going somewhere. I find that the service is almost always very good. Drink refills almost always come on time. The exception to that is usually if the place is very busy. But you're going to get that just about anywhere. The food always comes out in a reasonable amount of time, even when they are busy. Finally, I checked the state restaurant inspection report for this restaurant, and their last review, done in August 2014, was excellent, with only two basic violations.

We decided on having lunch here and as far as the food goes, it was good. The peel & eat shrimp were fresh and rather large. The shrimp was the highlight of our meal. My dad's Tilapia was also fresh but the portion was big enough for two people. My wife had the NY Strip which was cooked perfectly but the fries were overcooked. The main problem for us was the service, which was disappointing. Our server disappeared after bringing our entrees and again after asking for dessert. We had to track down one of the other servers in order to pay and leave. The appetizer plates were never cleared prior to bringing the entrees. She cleared them after we had finished our main courses.This is pretty much a Chilis or TGIF that serves seafood.

This is a so so place. The best part of the meal was the large plastic cup of soda the waitress brought me. The Clam Chowder was good but not the best. The steak was weak on seasoning so I added A-1. The baked potato is the same old thing you can get anywhere. Not sure I will go back.

My girlfriend and I went in to have dinner this evening we sat at the bar and Nicole was our bartender. She was awesome! When we sat down she came right up to us and let us know about all the drink and food specials. We got our amazing rib rolls out and she made sure our drinks were refilled at all times. She not only payed attention to all her bar customers she also watched the door and sat other customers that came in right away. She was an awesome bartender and we will most diffidently be going back there again. Thanks for the good service.

Got the suggestion from the hotel and it was in walking distance. Holy moly if we had tried this place when we first got into town we would have been here every night. We walked right in when it opened at 11. Veretta started us out with the free tumbleweed Tuesday app with purchase of a pitcher drink. We got the sweet tea. The tumbleweed onions are thin and good with the jalapeño ranch...but my rave is over the sweet tea! It was like homemade Georgia sweet tea as our waitress promised. Since we got the free app promo we couldn't really benefit from the lunch specials. Oh well. Veretta was training ladies and so we then got super happy Nicole. Wasn't to busy yet so she was at our every whim. I got the Pasta Caesar salad and added blackened dolphin. Oh oh oh so good! Huge portion and I couldn't eat it all. My boyfriend got the Texas burger...he groaned in delight through the whole thing. He had then take off the crunchy onions cause they were a bit much with the app we had just ate. They offered us lunch punch cards but we told then we were from out of town, no problem, instead Veretta treated us to their green mugs to take the sweet tea to go and a souvenir mug for my boyfriends niece. This place was awesome friendly and just made me smile all around.

Always enjoy coming here we usally come here for the $5.99 lunch specials as we did today. We had the burger which if always good and the chicken wings those too are on the money all the time. Come to think of it I haven't had anything there I didn't like it's never a let down.

We just can't beat the lunch specials. My boss drags me here when I am stuck at his office all everlasting day conducting interviews with him. He told me to 'hold onto my Flanigan's lunch card', so I always pull the lunch stamp cards out. I didn't look to see what the prize for completing a lunch card is, but the wait staff always insist that we pull them out and set them on the tables edge. There is quite a nice selection on the $5.99 lunch menu. The catch? You have to buy a drink, which is about $3. Oh well, I think its still a great lunch value. I always seem to crave the wings. I get the bbq wings. Never fail, they always are hot and crispy and fresh and 'normal sized'. No dried fried pigeon wings. The phenomenal curly fries added to my guilt so now I get a baked potato instead, toppings to the side. Today, my boss pulled a new one on me, he told our waiter to split the bill down the middle. He said he conveniently forgot he got the dinner sized blackened tilapia entree instead of the lunch. The fish is also usually very good, cooked just right. Really? Ok. So he pretended to feel bad and paid the tip. He better be glad I have enough job satisfaction right now. Oh, boss.....you know, come to think about it, I think the bill split was correct because that's right, you did get water. You are so lucky I like working with you, so lucky. Lol.

The service here is very slow. It's the worst Flanigans I've been to. The only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one is the fact that they still have the best wings.

My friend chose to go to Flanagan's and I was pleasantly surprised. The waiter, Kenya, was prompt, knew the menu well, and did a great job overall. The food was fresh and the gumbo soup was excellent. I will return.

My family and I have been eating here for years. Every time we go out and have to think of "where?", no place ever seems better. In MANY years we have never had anything that was not up to standard. I don't know how they manage such consistent high quality. Favorites are the Ribs, Wings, Prime Rib, Burgers, Steamers, and the Steakhouse Soup. Really great lunch time specials. Service has always been very friendly and attentive. One really does feel "at home" here. Now this is a casual restaurant with sports on the TV's (no sound) and lots of fishing pictures on the walls. I give 5 stars because it accomplishes what every restaurant should, but rarely does. It is CONSISTENTLY everything it promises to be, both in food and service, and I am talking over a span of many years. So many restaurants of greater pretense can not accomplish these basics.

OMG this place is like heaven. The food and service is great. I had a huge 10 once Texas burger great quality and lots of toppings. For the $9 meal w too many fries to finish in one setting. Our server Veritta (forgive my spelling) and Nicole were top notch. Never met them before and prob never will as I'm from out ta state but I recommended requesting one or both of these too. They help out and were patient with us on the huge menu. Refilled drinks and checked on us often. They will be getting a big tip from us. We also had a tumbleweed onion appetizers it was good if you enjoys strings onion rings. My wife enjoyed it very much. The out the door bill was $32 not bad for the best meal and service I've had for last week on vacation....BTW this was on hwy 441 in North Ft Lauderdale

Burger was cooked to a perfect medium/ warm pink center. Service was very good also. A big improvement from a previous visit. Staff was engaged and on their game. Great to see and even better to eat here.

So pleased with this stop for dinner. Great, fun atmosphere. Don't judge it by the exterior. I had the sautéed tilapia in creamy lemon butter sauce. YUM! The hubs had dolphin lightly blackened. He enjoyed his as well. All the sides were tasty. Wait staff incredibly friendly. First timers but we will watch for more Flanigans along our travels. Would be a great place for a $10 lunch as well. Everything I saw coming by my table looked great and prices are right.

Probably some of the best ribs I've ever had in my life. Plus the customer service (Mike was our server) was incredible. If you're ever in Fort Lauderdale, this restaurant is a MUST.

My friend and I decided to not cook and have some dinner and girl talk tonight. The hostess was nice and introduced herself, making sure to pay attention to where we wanted to sit and introduce us to our waitress. Our waitress was nice. We ordered our drinks and got them right away! My friend ordered the steak food and dolphin fingers. I ordered the Philadelphia cheese steak. The dolphin fingers were spectacular. I wasn't even able to take a photo before they were gone. Crispy on the outside and deliciously cooked on the inside. The food was all fresh. The cheesesteak has to be one of the best I've had. I ordered mine with everything! The sandwhich was not at all greasy! It's the first time I eat a cheesesteak that doesn't fall apart!!! I will definitely return to try one of their burgers and the ribs I hear so much rave about. Their prime rib with that juice is pretty decadent! Good location, friendly service, fresh food and fast delivery once order is placed! Will repeat!

This restaurant offers lots of different food options at very reasonable prices. The tumbleweed onions are a must! We tried them with the honey mustard & horsey sauces and both were outstanding. We all agreed that we could just order them & be very content. I tried the chicken philly sandwich (blackened chicken as recommended by our waitress) and it was so good! I got fries with it but couldn't eat any because I was full from the tumbleweeds & my sandwich. Others got the philly steak sandwich & a burger and they were very happy with them. I would happily go back to this place!

One could almost write the review right after walking in the door. Your nose tells you you are in for a wonderful dining adventure! And it is telling you the truth. I had the blackened tilapia sandwich for lunch. The fish was moist. The bun was fresh. The tomato was ripe and the lettuce crisp. Each element of the sandwich had a distinct and enjoyable flavor. Together they were a wonderful concert for the palate. (Feeling sort of poetic today. Don't worry, it doesn't happen very often,). With a bottomless cup of coffee. Great lunch. Do it again!!!

My family and I have been coming here for years, and have always had great reviews. However, this visit, was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. We are seated, then it takes 20 minutes for someone to address us. It wasn't even busy and there were plenty of servers. Then, Andrea came to help us and she was the one who was an absolute angel! She took our beverage orders then said our waitress will be with us soon. She brought our drinks, then wad nice enough to take our food order. We had complained to her about the service and she apologized and told the manager to visit us. His name was Chad. He offered us a free appetizer which was good, but the service didn't get any better. He brought the appetizer and just walked away from the table without saying one word. He was not very sincere, I could tell...Andrea had come back and asked us if our server had ever came, and we said no..so she adopted our table. Then our food came before our salads and soup and the ones who delivered it didn't seem to care or do anything about it. Andrea came back and we told her about them and she brought them. The pina colada was terrible, and we sent it back twice. The food was good, but the service overall was absolutely horrendous (besides Andrea...She should run the place, not Chad! ) I noticed other tables complaining as well. The servers were incredibly inexperienced and you could tell as soon as you saw them. Very sad, since we've been coming here for years...

Flanigan's has a very sports bar, single men drinking after work/single men who don't cook for themselves feel to it. Granted I sat at the bar both nights, but I never saw anyone sitting at the multitude of tables. The first night in I had the clam chowder (very good, no bacon), the garlic knots (skip), and the steamer clams (meh). The second night I had a fresh tuna melt which was very delicious and very reasonably priced even before the 50% off late night happy hour. The four stars are mainly for the late night happy hour & Nicole's excellent, friendly service.
